SARSON KA SAAG :

Sarson ka saag with Makki di Roti is the traditional dish of Punjab. It is the most popular winter dish in Punjab and is highly nutritious as it is made with mustard leaves (contains a lot of iron and protein). This luscious green gravy from the Punjabi cuisine is made with green mustard leaves and some spinach also added which further enhances the nutritional value, taste of the saag and adds a vibrant green colour and thickness to the gravy.This is thetraditional dish of Punjab. It is the most popular winter dish of Punjabis. It is a highly nutritious because mustard leaves contain a lot of iron and protein.
Recipe For Sarson Ka Saag

Ingredient :

A bunch of spinach and mustard leaves each
One chopped onion and one chopped tomato
2 chopped green chillies
½ teaspoon grated ginger and garlic each
Salt to taste
Ghee, oil
2 tablespoon maize flour
½ teaspoon garam masala

DirectionsDirections :

1. Wash and clean mustard greens and spinach
2. Cut finely and put into a pan with a cup of water and boil and blend to a fine paste
3. heat ghee add onions and Cook over a very slow fire till done .add ginger garlic paste
4 .add corn flour and the paste of greens , gr chilli cooke well and finish of with garam masala
5. Serve hot with makki ki roti .
